Hey y'all! I'm Gabby, the youngest of Loving Our Look. Or even better the one with the purple now blue hair lol, been rocking bold colors since last year and loving it. Now that we've gotten the intro out the way let's uncover some more juicy details! 

 

I, go by my nickname Gabby but it's short for Gabrielle. Just passed a quarter century so I'm getting acquainted with my late 20's. I was born in New York but raised in sunny South Florida. I relocated to New Jersey for 6 years, which was more like a home away from home. As I spent most of summers there with my cousins and uncle. Where I also met Fajr and Ashley thus creating Loving Our Look. 

 

As fate would have it, I also met my boyfriend, who recently proposed to me! So I'm engaged yall! Couldn't be any more happy to say I have a fiancé now not a boyfriend lol, who loves to use ALL my products. Our household is all natural as you can imagine which includes our children. We have two beautiful kids, our son Riley, 5, who has healthy curly fro hair and it is the first feature you notice. It pleases me to see him be so in love with his hair and even though we cut it once,  (it grew right back lol) he made us promise to never cut it after that. Our daughter, Raelynn, who is 2 and is a free-spirit, is getting the hang of the time we take out to do her hair. So as my princess gets older, I cannot wait for more of our bonding moments. Having a full household whose all natural is an amazing thing and 

makes me content. You can imagine the crazy roller coaster I am on thus far and the ride isn't going to stop but I am loving every minute and I wouldn't change it for the world. 

 

 

As I commence into my latter 20's, I became a bit lost as to what I wanted. For as long as I can remember, I always had a passion for teaching and loved being around kids. But over the years of working at a learning center and having my own kids, my passion didn't excite me anymore. Once I moved back to South Florida, I was finding my way of what was next for me. So I ended up turning my hobby, which was an artistry in makeup, into a job and applied at Ulta Beauty in my local city. As you say the rest was history, now I am a key holder at my store and will continue to pursue a position in management. Working at Ulta has given me so many opportunities from perfecting my craft to developing my skills within the business side of it as well. I am excited to learn that I have an aptitude for management. Learning the in's and out's of budgeting, forecasting, and buying for one of the busiest Ulta Stores in the region is an experience! But, as their motto says, "love what you do and own what you do" and I am doing exactly that! 

 

Not only do I have a platform to express myself but I am loving my look while doing it. Starting out natural with my first born and continuing has been a satisfying venture and lifestyle. Seeing the goals that I have hit and the bold moves I have made, realized I have come along and am continuing forward to see what else my hair will teach me. I can't fathom to be in such a mundane stage with my hair, so color has been my biggest change yet, being another way of brightening up my journey. Learning now, how to maintain healthy hair over length will always remain a staple. It wasn't important to me but I seem to be like the average naturalista and have "lazy days". But sharing my journey with my girls and other naturals is the best part about being natural! You have the opportunity to experience interesting things and interact with people from all over.
